CONCEPT

For this project, the ambition is to reframe a small mountain apartment into a space that feels both more functional and more composed. Located in Morgins, Switzerland, the project explores how a constrained footprint can be transformed through clarity of layout, integrated storage, and a carefully balanced material palette.

The design approach sought to enhance the apartment’s spatial reading, strengthen everyday comfort, and introduce a quieter, more architectural atmosphere. The intervention focused on turning practical constraints into opportunities: the kitchen became a central organizing element, and storage is integrated as part of the interior composition rather than added afterwards.

The result is conceived as a contemporary alpine retreat — warm, restrained and durable — where every element contributes to a more fluid, cohesive and elevated experience of the space.
